TRAGEDY IN HAITI
On Tuesday, January 12, 2010, an earthquake registering 7.2 struck southern Haiti knocking down buildings, power lines, killing thousands and inflicting new misery on the Western Hemisphere's poorest nation. We here at SFBC are partnering with the International Mission Board to help bringing relief and compassion to Haiti's people.
HOW CAN I HELP?
GIVE
You can be part of this effort by making a donation through our church. Simply put "Haiti" in the memo section of your check and through the IMB, 100% of your donation will go directly to the relief effort. The King will answer and say to them " Assuredly I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My bretheren, you did it unto Me." Matthew 25: 40
PRAY
Pray for Haiti's people, for those who have suffered, for those bringing relief, for her government, for rebuilding and countless other needs. But, most of all pray that the Gospel of Jesus Christ would permeate this time of great tragedy and that the people of Haiti would experience the complete healing and comfort that ONLY Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, can bring. "But I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all men to Myself." John 12:32
