God's Bookshelf

The Lord Is a Witness

The final chapter of Malachi closes the Old Testament with a powerful call to remember three vital truths. First, the story of faith is not about us. God is the subject, and when we place ourselves at the center, confusion and disappointment follow. Second, God remembers every act of faithfulness. He keeps a Book of Remembrance, and every quiet act of service, every moment of standing firm in faith, is recorded before Him. Third, a day is coming when God will distinguish between those who fear Him and those who do not, bringing judgment for some and healing for others. The forerunner has come, the Savior has come, and He is coming again.
