Benevolence
Benevolence Ministry
The primary purpose of the Benevolence Ministry is to assist people in times of need as the hands and feet of Christ. Though meeting physical needs does not directly accomplish the Great Commission, we recognize that it is often a doorway to do so. As a result, our commitment is to minister to the whole person, whether it be a physical, emotional, or spiritual need that arises.
Assistance begins with a one-on-one appointment with our Benevolence Ministry Assistant, Sharon. Call (972) 226-7105 between the hours of 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM or 1:00 PM to 3:30 PM to schedule an appointment. All documentation will be reviewed and authorization is granted based on availability. On a case-by-case basis, the applicant may be directed to seek assistance provided by the local, state, or federal agencies. Sunnyvale First Baptist Church reserves the right to provide or refuse support based on information provided and knowledge of each situation.
Application Process

Return the completed form to the Church Office with a copy of your current bill/invoice/rental agreement etc. with contact information, current driver’s license, and social security number(s).
