Message: “Worship Fuels Joy” from John Frawley

Where Is MY Honor?

God asks a piercing question in Malachi chapter one: Where is my honor? His people were bringing blind, lame, and sick animals as offerings, giving God their leftovers while reserving their best for everything else. God makes clear that if we get worship wrong, everything else done in His name is off. Right worship begins with reverence, flows into honest speech and holy living, and ultimately becomes contagious to those around us. The faithful priest described in Malachi chapter two feared God, honored His name, spoke truth, and walked in peace and justice. When we worship with that kind of devotion, it turns people back from wrongdoing. God is a great King, and His name deserves nothing less than our very best.
