A Character Worthy of Our Calling
Paul's message in Ephesians 4 calls believers to 'walk worthy' of their calling in Christ, emphasizing unity within the body of Christ. This worthy walk is characterized by four key attributes: humility and gentleness, patience, bearing with one another in love, and being diligent to maintain unity. The foundation for this unity is established through seven essential 'ones': one body, one Spirit, one hope, one Lord, one faith, one baptism, and one God and Father. In a divided world, Christians are challenged to reflect these qualities and preserve the unity that already exists in Christ.
