The Lord Knows How
False teachers are not a new problem, and the Bible makes clear they will always exist alongside genuine truth. In 2 Peter 2, Peter warns believers that these teachers slip in quietly, distort Scripture, exploit people for personal gain, and live in contradiction to what they preach. But the most reassuring part of Peter's message is this: God sees everything and keeps good records. Just as He judged the fallen angels, the world in Noah's day, and Sodom and Gomorrah, He will judge false teachers too. And just as He rescued Noah and Lot, He knows how to rescue the godly. The call for believers is to stay grounded in Scripture, measure every voice against God's Word, and trust that God's justice is certain even when it is not yet visible.
