Message: “Being Angry at Church” from Deron Biles

In Mark chapter 3, three groups gather at a synagogue on the Sabbath: Jesus, who is there to worship; a man with a withered hand, who is there with a need; and the Pharisees, who are there with an agenda. Jesus calls the man to stand in front of everyone and then challenges the Pharisees with a pointed question about whether it is lawful to do good or harm on the Sabbath. Rather than answering, they stay silent, and Jesus heals the man with a single command. The story presents two simple but demanding calls for every follower of Jesus: the courage to stand up publicly with Him, and the willingness to stretch out your hand in faith even when obedience feels impossible.
