Chosen in Christ
God chose us in Christ before the foundation of the world, not because of our merit but according to His purpose and love. This divine selection means we are blessed with spiritual blessings including redemption, forgiveness, and adoption into God's family. Being chosen isn't just about receiving blessingsāit comes with the purpose of living holy lives that bring glory to God. While God sovereignly chose us, we still respond through hearing and believing the gospel, after which we are sealed with the Holy Spirit as a guarantee of our inheritance.
