This divine selection means we are blessed with spiritual blessings including redemption, forgiveness, and adoption into God's family. Being chosen isn't just about receiving blessings—it comes with the purpose of living holy lives that bring glory to God. While God sovereignly chose us, we still respond through hearing and believing the gospel, after which we are sealed with the Holy Spirit as a guarantee of our inheritance.
