Walking in Christ

Every step we take leaves spiritual footprints that either point people toward Christ or away from Him. Paul's command in Ephesians 5 to imitate God involves three essential aspects of Christian living. First, we must walk in love by demonstrating the same sacrificial love Christ showed us, avoiding impurity and greed while speaking words that build up others. Second, we walk in light because we are no longer darkness but have been transformed into light itself, producing fruit of goodness, righteousness, and truth. Third, we walk in wisdom by being careful with our time, understanding God's will, allowing His Spirit to control us, practicing consistent worship, and showing gratitude and submission. The question isn't whether we're leaving traces in people's lives, but what kind of spiritual evidence we're leaving behind.
