What Would Jesus Do ... First?
In our busy world, we often ask what Jesus would do, but the better question is what would Jesus do first. Mark 1:35 reveals that Jesus prioritized early morning prayer with the Father, even after exhausting days of ministry. He intentionally created quiet time away from crowds and distractions. Jesus also prioritized his purpose over popularity, choosing to preach in new towns rather than staying where everyone was looking for him. Like a phone needing regular charging, our spiritual lives require consistent connection with God through prayer. We must be willing to say no to good things to prioritize the best things, creating intentional margin for what truly matters most.
