Many people grow up in church, sing about being part of God's family, and call fellow believers brother and sister. But what does it actually mean to belong to God's family? In Mark 3, Jesus identifies three groups of people: those who are familiar with Him, those who are near Him, and those who truly belong to Him. He makes clear that neither family background nor religious activity is enough. Belonging to God's family is defined by one thing: doing the will of God. The door is open to anyone who will come, through faith in Jesus Christ.
